Frequently Asked Questions

Will you travel to my location?

Yes! There’s no need to travel on your big day. We will come to your home, apartment, hotel room, wedding venue – wherever you and your group would like to get ready.  We will even travel the world to get to you, just ask!  Should you request for us to travel outside the area, please be aware that a travel fee may be charged.

What if my group only needs hair OR makeup services and not both?

That is fine! We are able to provide both services or just one or the other.

Will one person do everyone’s hair and makeup or will you bring others along to help?

We will book as many artists as you will need based on the size of your group, the services being done, and the time constraints involved.

How long will it take for you to get my bridal party ready?

This will depend on the number of people having services done, as well as the number of artists booked for your group. We will work out a schedule based on your vendors closer to the wedding date.

Do you offer separate pricing for a blowout or light makeup?

We charge a flat rate for each service regardless of what is being done.  We book the same amount of time for each person which allows everyone the time to get the exact look they want.

Do I need to do a preview session before the wedding?

We highly suggest meeting for a preview session 4-6 weeks before your wedding. While it is not required, it helps things run more smoothly the day of your event.  We're open to trying multiple looks if you're unsure of what you want, and we'll give recommendations based on your personal style/skin/coloring/hair texture etc.  A preview gives you a better picture of what you will look like on the big day, and it will allow our artist an opportunity to get to know you better. Overall, a preview will ensure that you look and feel your best for your wedding.

What is the difference between traditional and airbrush foundation?

Airbrush is a light weight foundation that is applied with a gun and air compressor.  It generally leaves a natural, flawless finish as opposed to a matte finish. The product is very thin and is less likely to run with sweat, tears, or precipitation.  Traditional makeup goes on a bit heavier but will still be blended to look smooth and polished.  Both applications are great and will last all night long.  We're happy to consult with you and make a recommendation based on your preferences and skin.

Do you offer hair and makeup services for events other than weddings?

Yes!  We offer services for all different types of events.  Photo shoots, bar/bat mitzvahs, family portraits, bachelorette parties, birthday parties, girls' night out etc.  We also teach personal makeup classes and blow-dry classes to small groups!  Send us some information about your event.  We'd love to work with you!

Do you require a deposit?

We do require a deposit equal to the cost of the bride’s scheduled services at the time of booking.

I want to work with you!  What does the booking process look like?

Great!  Contact us with more information about your event.  Once we confirm availability, we'll send over a contract for you to review.  When we receive your completed contract and deposit, your date will be fully secured.  After that you're good to go until your preview session, which we recommend scheduling 4-6 weeks before your wedding.

What is your cancellation policy?

In the event of a cancellation, your deposit will be forfeited.
