Working with Allison was a fantastic experience. Having a small bridal party (just me, my sister and mom needing hair and makeup), I had a hard time finding someone who would come to us without a large minimum. I am delighted that a family friend recommended Something You. From booking to the trial and the day of, we had professional but still personal service. Allison listened to and totally got my vision for a soft, natural look. I also loved that throughout the trial and even on the day, she was letting me see the look at various points to make sure we were still on the same page. And for my mom, this allowed for small tweaks to make sure her hair was perfect for her. The end product was great! The hair and makeup lasted all day and night, and I got a lot of compliments on both. I would recommend Something You to anyone planning a wedding. I had worked with Something You when I was a bridesmaid in my best friend’s wedding and I knew I didn’t want anyone else doing my makeup day of. Allison (who runs the company) was very responsible and helpful through the planning process. We ended up having three artists come to do 9 people’s hair and makeup. Everyone looked beautiful and it was such fun to have them there as we were getting ready. Heather did both my hair and makeup – not only did she do amaaaazing job (I’ve never looked better) she was such a pleasure to work with. She was extremely flexible and worked around my schedule as I was planning a Philadelphia wedding from New York and she made sure everything ran perfectly the day of. I highly recommend Something You Onsite Beauty! I was in contact with Allison throughout the whole process of booking, she did my hair & makeup trial, and the day of. She was professional and made sure I was happy with every single detail! The day of my wedding she came with another girl, and both of them were low-key, kept the atmosphere in the room calm, and made sure every single girl was perfectly happy with their hair and makeup before they left! Very professional! I felt so gorgeous on my wedding day thanks to Allison and how well she listened to my (picky and ever changing) hair and makeup requests!!

Heather, Allison and the team were FANTASTIC! I heard horror stories from brides / photographers about makeup and hair artists running behind the schedule. Nothing to worry about with Something You -- all bridesmaids, flower girls and mothers were finished EARLY. We had a great time with the artists as well. Allison was amazing to work with and made me feel absolutely beautiful on my wedding day! She was able to create the exact look I was going for that was glamorous, yet still looked like me. Allison was professional and easy going and helped to create a wonderful atmosphere while everyone was getting ready the morning of. She was able to listen to what everyone in my wedding party wanted (updos and down) and created a variety of different looks that each woman loved. I am forever appreciative of Allison after I reached out to her in a panic because the initial hair and make up team that I had scheduled for the day could not accommodate my time. She so quickly put my mind at ease and assured me to not stress about anything and I wish I had discovered her and her team from the start. She was very responsive and made the process so much easier than I ever thought it could be. Allison, Jen, Gina and Sooky did an amazing job and I truly can't thank them enough. The whole team was super easy going and knew exactly what they were doing.
