What to Expect When Working with Us

Hey there!  We're so excited to work with you on the biggest day of your life!  It's an honor to be considered as one of your wedding vendors and we want to give you an idea of what it's like to work with us from the booking process to the big day.

 

The experience starts right now! Take a look around our website, read our reviews, download our Rates & FAQ guide, check availability for your date, and follow us on our social media pages to get some hair and makeup inspiration.  The next step is optional, but highly recommended.  Schedule a complimentary consultation call with us to chat about your day and get any lingering questions answered.

 

The booking process is pretty straightforward.  We'll email over a contract that can be filled out electronically, and request a retainer payment to hold the date.  From there, you are all set! 

Updates Along the Way

Feel free to reach out with updates and questions between booking and the big day!  If you know that details like your headcount or timeline is changing, email us and we'll reopen the contract for you to update.  The best way to get in touch is via email.

The Planning Stage

We love getting to know our brides during the planning stage.  Most of our brides come to see us regularly at our studio leading up to the big day. We'll create a plan to ensure all your wedding beauty goals are met.   We offer brow and lash services in our studio in Wayne, PA as well as in the comfort of your own home if you're in our travel area. 

We also offer personal beauty shopping and bridal beauty consultations to help you sift through all of the beauty services on the market these days.  We're happy to make recommendations on beauty service providers we love,  and help you develop a plan to get your hair and skin in their best shape before the wedding.  These classes are fully customized to you and your lifestyle, and can be done in person or virtually!

60-90 Days Out

We'll reach out to see if you'd like to schedule a preview session with your artist.  While these appointments are not required, they are recommended so you can really consult with your artist and get a good feel for your wedding beauty look.

60 Days Out

At the 60 day mark, the headcount in your contract is locked in. If you need to make any changes, please email us before this date for any necessary updates!  After the 60 day mark, we cannot remove services from your contract but we can always transfer the service to another person in your party if need be.  Sometimes we're able to add services on after this point as long as time is available in the schedule.

30 Days Out

Ahh it's getting close!  This is when our behind the scenes work begins.  At this stage, we're contacting your other vendors to get a sense of their timeline for the day.  Once we hear back from them, we build an in depth schedule listing an appointment time for every service in the contract.  If you have any scheduling requests (i.e. My Mom wants go first etc.) let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate them.  We use our magic formula when making the schedule that allows everyone to be relaxed and ready with time to spare.   As soon as this is complete, it'll be emailed over to you for final approval.

14 Days Out

We'll send over your final schedule and invoice (sooner if we get your timeline information ahead of time).

7 Days Out

Your final payment is due if you're paying via check or credit card.  We do offer the option to pay the day of the wedding in the form of cash only.

WEDDING DAY!

This is the day we've all been waiting for!!  Our team will arrive at their scheduled time and get set up and ready to go. They'll bring everything including brushes, tools, products, and power strips.  We ask that you provide a chair and some table space for each artist.  Natural light is the best light for makeup so if you have windows available, this is preferred - however, our artists do bring their own professional lighting as well.

 

The artists will work through their appointments as scheduled and consult with each attendant at the start of their service.  They'll look over photos of looks they love (or even looks they don't like) to get an idea of the best look for their client. We tend to run right on time or ahead of schedule, so we ask for everyone to be ready at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment.

 

When all services are completed, they artists will ask if anyone needs any last minute touchups or changes and take care of everyone's final needs.  Then they clean up and put everything back just as it was when they arrived.  They'll be your best friends by the time they leave and they'll be counting down to when they get to see some photos of the finished look!

Post Wedding

We try to wait until a month after the wedding to contact you so you have time to enjoy your first weeks of married life together, but we'll be secretly dying the whole time to see some photos of your big day!

 

Once we've worked with you, you're in the family! We LOVE staying in touch with our brides once the wedding is over and keep many of them as lash & brow clients.  Sometimes we get to work with our brides again as bridesmaids in their friend or family member's wedding, or for maternity shoots and family photos.  We have an excellent referral program in place and we're so grateful when our clients pass our information along.
